		Splash Landings Hotel Splash Landings opened in June 2003, Europe’s first and only water park hotel. The hotel is themed around the Caribbean themed Cariba Creek water park and views from everywhere in the hotel show the artificial beach area and the main swimming pool. Splash Landings is the second of the Alton Towers Hotels and is ideal for a fun, vibrant and atmospheric family stop-over! Caribbean music will play in the background as you enjoy a relaxing drink in Ma Garrita's bar overlooking the superb Cariba Creek Waterpark. The Beachcomber bedrooms are just a bit smaller than the discovery rooms in the original hotel but offer a different Caribbean theme; wood furniture, shutters, bright colours and decorations give the rooms the original touch. But the huge advantage of these hotel rooms in advantage to the Alton Towers Hotel, is that they can sleep 6 people, allowing larger families and groups to stay without having to pay the premium of an extra room. Flambo's Buffet Restaurant Flambo’s is Splash Landings own Caribbean buffet style eatery and offers all the standard food for fussy eaters! as well as some Caribbean tasters. Flambo’s is open for dinner between 5.00pm and 9.30pm and breakfast between 7.30am and 10am. But watch out as the price of your stay can quickly mount up as dinner at Flambo’s is Ł20 for adults (Over 11) and Ł10 for children, so you may decide to have an early dinner inside the park at 6 o’clock or go to the Secret Garden Restaurant in the Alton Towers Hotel which serves the standard British menu.
