Alton Towers Conference Centre

In order for the Alton Towers Resort to appeal to a corporate market and in particularly during the quieter hotel months when the theme park is closed, it was decided when Splash Landings and Cariba Creek were in the planning stages, a Conference Centre would appeal to a business market and bring in extra revenue. This conference centre opened in 2003 and is excellently themed around similar to the Alton Towers Hotel, but still exclusive and private.

The award winning Conference Centre is situated between the Alton Towers Hotel and Splash Landings Hotel and can be accessed via both hotels or it's private entrance if desired for meetings. The Conference Centre offers an extraordinary venue to host an event, boasting these superb facilities -

- Dedicated Conference Centre with space for over 500 delegates theatre style, 240 classroom or cabaret style.
- 8 syndicate rooms for smaller meetings from 30-60 delegates theatre style
- 549 sq metres of space in largest room
- Dedicated business centre
- Exhibition space within the Conference Centre

The theming of the conference centre continues from the Alton Towers Hotel theme. It has a sculpture of Sir Algenon’s airship in the ceiling of his themed entrance hall area. The venue is then split up into various suites; the largest is the main suite which is situated on the ground floor. This can be divided into 3 separate suites called Voyager suite, Explorer Suite and the Endeavor Suite. The décor for the suites are 1920’s art deco.

On, the second floor, adjacent to the entrance is Sir Algenon’s Lounge, Nemesis suite and Air suites. In these two suites, ride designs, blueprints and theming concepts are displayed, keeping in line with the Alton Towers theme.
