Alton Towers is clearly signposted from the following motorways

Travelling North
 - M1 Junction 23a
 - M6 Junction 15

Travelling South
 - M1 Junction 24a
 - M6 Junction 16

PARKING

Parking is charged at £4 per car, or free for Disabled Badge holders, and Annual Pass holders.

BY TRAIN AND 32A BUS

You will need to catch a train to Uttoxeter train station. The 32A bus to Alton Towers (destination Hanley/City Centre) leaves Uttoxeter rail station (bus stop immediately outside station) at the following times (Mon-Sat). The cost of an all day ticket (FirstDay) which is the cheapest return to Alton towers and back costs £3.50

The buses are reliable and a cheap means of getting to and from the theme park.
